401(k)

    • Employers must perform annual non-highly-compensated-discrimination testing.
  • Safe Harbor 401(k)
    • Similar to Traditional Plan, but employers must contribute to all fully vested employees’ accounts
    • No requirement for annual nondiscrimination testing
  • SIMPLE 401(k)
    • For businesses with fewer than 100 employees
    • Employees may not receive any other contributions if enrolled in this plan.
  • Roth 401(k)
    • Contributions are post-tax
    • Eligible withdrawals not subject to tax

403(b)
