	Michael H. Sheridan Chairman of the Board
Mike has been in the insurance and benefits business since 1962 and in management since 1965. A Miami, Florida native, he started his career after completing his education at the University of Miami and later founded FBMC in 1976. He stepped down as President in 1997 and remains an active Chairman.

John R. Marks, III
Vice Chairman

John received his BS from the FSU School of Business and his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the FSU College of Law. He is currently Mayor for the City of Tallahassee and previously served on the Florida Public Service Commission, by appointment from Governor Bob Graham. John is admitted to practice before various Supreme, Circuit and District Florida Courts, as his experience includes many years as a lead, utility regulatory attorney.

Dr. Jerome Osteryoung
Treasurer

Jerry's educational background includes degrees from Georgia Tech, the University of South Florida and a doctorate from Georgia State University. Currently he serves as the Director of Outreach Services in the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and is a Professor of Finance (Emeritus) at the FSU College of Business. His written works on entrepreneurial and financial subjects are published regularly and he is an active community volunteer.

Agnes McMurray
Secretary

Agnes has been a member of the FBMC Board of Directors since 2000. She retired after serving 15 years as President of PESCO and Executive Vice President for FBMC's Administration Services and Operations divisions. Following her retirement from FBMC Agnes opened her own firm providing project management and consulting services to both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Since 2006 she has contracted primarily with the Big Bend Rural Health Network to provide grant writing and management services for diabetes outreach and education grants awarded by the Office of Minority Health. Agnes is actively engaged in the community and volunteers her time with environmental and political organizations.

Larry Dennis
Board Member

Larry has been dean of the FSU College of Communication & Information since 2004, and earned a BS in Physics in 1974 and a PhD in Nuclear Physics in 1979. He has served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the Office for Distributed and Distance Learning; acting Director of the FSU Supercomputer Computations Research Institute; and taught physics at FSU since 1979 where he won multiple awards. He currently teaches courses on information architecture and IT project management.

Lorraine Strickland
President and Chief Executive Officer

Lorraine has been working in the employee benefits industry since 1982 and currently provides direction for FBMC as President and Chief Executive Officer. She is a graduate of FSU and the Business School Executive Education Program at Harvard. Lorraine is a frequent speaker and published author in the benefits and insurance industry and extremely active in the community. She is also licensed as an Insurance Agent for both Life, Health and Variable Annuities.
