Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Rick began his tenure with FBMC in 2003, rising to the position of Director of Marketing at the time of his departure in 2008. He went on to gain a wealth of experience in employee benefits, healthcare data analytics and operational performance improvement as the Senior Vice President of Sales with Medical Development International, and as a Performance Management Consultant for RLG International. He is also certified associate in project management, and licensed in multiple leadership and training programs.
Beginning in July 2015, Rick began his latest role at FBMC as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer; leading the client services team, developing new sales strategies, forging new partnerships and fostering the growth of product lines.
Chief Operations Officer
Roy began his tenure with FBMC in April of 2016, in the position of Chief Information Officer.
Roy has over ten years of experience in engineering and six years in management consulting. During his engineering career, Roy spent five years developing new technologies for the aerospace industry and five years in defense as a Software Systems Engineer developing communications technologies. As a Management Consultant, Roy has experience in the energy sector related to operational performance improvement, including initiating system behavioral and cultural changes.
In this position, Roy is responsible for overseeing deduction management, direct bill, and information technology services including application development, system administration, user support services, EDI and client implementations.

Michael H. Sheridan
Mike has been in the insurance and benefits business since 1962 and in management since 1965. A Miami, Florida native, he started his career after completing his education at the University of Miami and later founded FBMC in 1976. He stepped down as President in 1997 and remains an active as Board Chair.
Board Vice Chair
Agnes has been a member of the FBMC Board of Directors since 2000. She retired after 15 years as President of PESCO and Executive Vice President for FBMC’s Administration Services and Operations divisions. Following her retirement, Agnes opened her own project management and consulting firm. From 2006 to 2010 she contracted primarily with the Big Bend Rural Health Network providing grant writing and management services for outreach and education grants awarded by the Florida Office of Minority Health. She served as interim President of FBMC from February 2011 to June 2011. Agnes is actively engaged in the community and volunteers her time with environmental and political organizations.
Jerome Osteryoung, Ph.D.
Jerry’s educational background includes degrees from Georgia Tech, the University of South Florida and a doctorate from Georgia State University. He was the founding Executive Director of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship and is a Professor of Finance (Emeritus) at the FSU College of Business. His written works on entrepreneurial and financial subjects are published regularly and he is an active community volunteer.
John R. Marks, III
Board Secretary and Counsel
John received his BS from the FSU School of Business and his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the FSU College of Law. His public service includes four years in the US Air Force as a Jag officer, eight years on the Florida Public Service Commission and 12 years as the Mayor for the City of Tallahassee. John is senior attorney at Marks and Marks LLC and with his son John IV provides legal and consulting services in the areas of utility regulatory law, telecommunications, internet law and local government relations.
Larry Dennis, Ph.D.
Larry has been dean of the Florida State University College of Communication & Information since 2004 and earned a BS in Physics in 1974 and a PhD in Nuclear Physics in 1979. He has served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the Office for Distributed and Distance Learning; acting Director of the FSU Supercomputer Computations Research Institute; and taught physics at FSU since 1979 where he won multiple awards. He currently teaches courses on information architecture and IT project management.
